Kelly Rio Saxton: Minis
This week I worked with my collaborator on the hardware for my show project. The costs are about double what I’d expected because the screens are now rare enough to be expensive. That said, I will either have a 3×3 grid of tiny screens, or I will build a 4×4 grid for the show and then take it apart and rebuild two sets of 4×4 grids for him as a thank you.
I also experimented with some 8-bit style gifs. The mice here are for my collaborator, who is releasing an open-source mouse at the Open Source Hardware Summit this month just for fun. They are white w/ transparent backgrounds, but for now I’ve got them on a color to show up in email.
