This week I played around with particles, trails, and post-processing effects. Not quite as “primitive” as my other projects in this series, but I suppose they’re my rules and I can break them if I want to! The particles really seemed to make the game more fun: it just wasn’t as satisfying to sink a ball without some kind of visual reward. It’s interesting how small graphical cues can change the whole feeling of a game. This game would be fun to flesh out and put into an arcade cabinet in a bar or something.
