Dennis Roberts: What Are The Controls?

I like games that have a meta element to them, where the game is equally about figuring out the rules as it is about the ostensible goal (Achievement Unlocked or The Stanley Parable jumps to mind). This is my simple take on that concept, a frogger clone with cubes, that is simple on the surface, but challenging because you’re struggling to grasp the bizarre (and randomized) controls each time you play.

At first it didn’t give you any hints about the buttons at all, but it was just a little too difficult and it kind of killed the fun. Could be a fun concept for a game with longer, building levels, where you learned a new control each level (but they stayed the same).
